Our arable enterprise is overseen by Stewart Dunn, who leads the cultivation of a diverse range of crops, including wheat, barley, peas, beans, oilseed rape, linseed, and potatoes.
We are committed to sustainable practices, utilising an eco-friendly system of integrated pest management. This approach maximises the role of beneficial insects to naturally control pests, significantly reducing the need for chemical pesticides.
Potatoes are stored and graded on-site before being sold to local merchants for 'fresh to market' consumption.
Our arable farming also supports our livestock operations, with specific crops grown to nourish our cattle and sheep, reinforcing a balanced and sustainable farming system.
